'Forbes' reveals 'Electronic Cash Kings 2013: The World's Highest-Paid DJs'

DJs are indeed the rock stars of today. Dance music has become as big as ever, putting forth not just music, but experiences in the form of numerous festivals, world tours, bus tours, and more. And fans have shown they will travel almost anywhere to catch their favorite DJ in action. 

With all these festivals, tours, club residencies, and numerous other projects, many of these dance music superstars are raking it in! Forbes has released their list of "Electronic Cash Kings" for 2013, ranking the world's highest paid DJs and how much they made. 

The list includes many of the usual suspects, with Calvin Harris taking the top spot pulling in $46 million. Aside from hearing his songs on the radio daily and setting the record this year for most top 10 singles from the same album, he has appeared at many of the world's top festivals, and began a residency at Las Vegas' newest hot spot Hakkasan. 

Also making the list this year are Tiesto - another Hakkasan resident - at $32 million, David Guetta at $30 million, Swedish House Mafia at $25 million, and rounding out the top five Deadmau5 at $21 million.

11. Diplo - $13 million, DJ Pauly D - $13 million
